About PlayTrova

PlayTrova started with a simple idea: every game should work three ways. Sometimes you want a quick puzzle on your own, sometimes you want to test yourself against a computer, and sometimes the best thing in the world is beating your little brother at Four in a Row on the sofa. So every game here has all three.

What you can play

We have 16 games so far — timeless classics like Checkers, Tic-Tac-Toe, Reversi, Mancala, Sea Battle and the Ludo-style Race Home, and our own inventions: the Turbo Trails racing game, Tilt Four, Lucky Lanterns, Snap Duel and Math Race. We add new games regularly. See them all.

The characters

Instead of “easy” and “hard” modes, you play four characters: Rookie Robo 🤖, Clever Cat 🐱, Sly Fox 🦊 and Grandmaster Owl 🦉. Beat one to earn its star. Kids remember beating the Fox far longer than they remember beating “level 3”.

Made for families

• No accounts, no sign-up, no personal data. Your progress is saved on your own device.
• No chat. Online games with friends only allow a handful of emoji reactions.
• No loot boxes, no paid currency, no fake timers. Coins are earned by playing and only buy cosmetic avatars.
• Big buttons, clear pieces that differ by shape as well as colour, and sound you can switch off.
• Works offline once installed from your browser menu.
